“I miss this feeling” Bergwijn Breaks Silence Amid COVID-19 Fixtures Suspension

Tottenham star Steven Bergwijn has taken to Instagram to reveal what he’s missing most while the Premier League remains on lockdown.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, all football in England is on hold until April 30 at the earliest, although there is hope the current campaign will be completed as the season has been extended indefinitely.

With players and fans all now remaining at home to stay safe as the wait goes on for the rescheduled fixtures, Bergwijn has broken his silence on Instagram.

As seen in his post below, the 22-year-old has revealed what he misses most, with the images showing him celebrating after his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Dutchman has bagged two goals in seven games since joining Tottenham from PSV Eindhoven in January, while an ankle injury forced him to miss the defeat at RB Leipzig prior to the suspension of fixtures.

Based on his post below, Bergwijn is itching to get back on the pitch and scoring goals, but he’ll face a wait of another month at least still while he’ll be busy recovering and building his fitness during the break.
