‘I do expect those two’ Journalist believes Spurs looking at signing pair before window closes

Ange Postecoglou’s summer rebuild at Tottenham Hotspur has been in full swing, with several signings already completed.

James Maddison, Manor Solomon, and Guglielmo Vicario are among the new arrivals, and the club has also secured permanent deals for Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro.

Alongside the incoming players, there have been a couple of departures from the squad.

Harry Winks has been sold to Leicester City, while Lucas Moura has left on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract.

The major reshaping of the squad is set to continue, with more players expected to leave including: Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, and star striker Harry Kane.

Journalist Ryan Taylor from the Daily Express has suggested that Davinson Sanchez is a player attracting significant interest, hinting at a potential exit.

Additionally, Joe Rodon is expected to depart in the summer transfer window. Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba have been strongly linked with moves to Tottenham as potential replacements.

And now Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor has relayed that Davinson Sanchez is a player who is attracting interest hinting towards a potential exit.

The journalist also adds that Joe Rodon is too expected to leave in the summer transfer window.

He believes both Van de Ven and Tapsoba are likely to come in.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, he said:

“That said, there’s probably going to be some outgoings at Spurs as well. It’s just how Ange Postecoglou views it.

“If he sticks with a back four, then I don’t think they’ll need more than those two [Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba], but if they’re going to go to a back three at some point then maybe they might want to look again.

“Obviously, Clement Lenglet left following his loan from Barcelona. Then there is Davinson Sanchez who is attracting very strong interest. Joe Rodon as well is likely to depart.

“So yeah, I do expect those two to be the ones to come in.”

While Tottenham have agreed on a fee with Spartak Moscow for Sanchez, the deal might not proceed as the player has concerns about joining a club in Russia due to the ongoing situation there.

Galatasaray remain interested in signing the Colombian defender, and there are possibilities of exploring a potential swap deal that could involve Spurs target Victor Nelsson going the other way.

With the summer transfer window still ongoing, Tottenham’s squad overhaul is expected to continue, with Postecoglou looking to reshape the team to fit his vision and tactics for the upcoming season.
