Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent months.

They were keen on the 25-year-old in the summer as well, but the move did not go through. The North London club have not walked away from the move, and they could reignite their interest in January.

Conor Gallagher move possible in January

According to a report via Sportwitness, the player could be made available in January for the right price. Atletico Madrid values him as an important player, but they would be willing to sell for €60 million. It will be interesting to see if Spurs are prepared to break the Bank for him. He could transform them in the midfield and add more quality and depth to the squad.

Signing a player like him could elevate their standards and help them push for trophies. They have started the season well, and Thomas Frank will be looking to build on it. Meanwhile, they will face competition from Manchester United for the player. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs are ready to pay a premium for him.

The England International has shown his ability in the Premier League with Chelsea and Crystal Palace. He could improve both teams. Gallagher has been labelled as a player with “special abilities” by Mauricio Pochettino in the past.

The midfielder will be hoping for regular gametime as well, and returning to England would be ideal. He has not been able to play every week at Atletico Madrid. He will want to be a part of the England squad for the upcoming World Cup, and playing regularly will be crucial to his hopes.
