Tomorrow sees Tottenham vs. Leeds United in what is likely to be one of my favourite games of the season. Elland Road is an old school stadium, with what is very much an old school atmosphere.
This is the first top-flight meeting between the sides since May 2023, when Spurs ran out 4-1 winners in a chaotic affair, if you recall the game.
Leeds, under Daniel Farke, are aiming to build on a solid start to life back in the big time, while Tottenham—managed by Thomas Frank—look to shake off recent draws and maintain their push for Champions League spots. Expect a lively atmosphere at Elland Road, where Leeds have been tough to beat this season.
Form guide?
Leeds are unbeaten at home in the Premier League this season (1 win, 2 draws) and have not lost a home league game in over a year, with a 23-game unbeaten run at Elland Road. However, they face a tough challenge, having lost nine of their last 11 Premier League games against Tottenham.
Spurs by contrast, have been strong on the road, earning seven points from three away league games this season (2 wins, 1 draw), matching their total from the previous 11 away matches. Spurs are coming off two consecutive Premier League draws and a midweek Champions League draw against Bodø/Glimt.
Will this one be easy for fans to watch?
The match will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 in the UK, with streaming available via the Discovery+ app. In the US, it’s on NBC, in India on Jio Hotstar, and in Australia on Stan Sport.
Leeds vs Tottenham is scheduled for a 12.30 pm BST kick-off on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Will there be goals?
This has goals written all over it—both sides boast shaky defences but potent attacks, which could be interesting! Leeds’ home resilience could frustrate Spurs, who haven’t won three in a row at Elland Road ever, but Tottenham’s quality (Kudus’ 3 assists, Richarlison’s 3 goals) should edge it. Leeds 1-2 Spurs.
Both teams to score? Highly likely at 1.73 odds, so sit back and enjoy!
