Hojbjerg’s Zidane moment will surely go down in history. José Mourinho admitted that whilst they were joking about it afterwards, it was a case of ‘very nice but don’t do it again, Pierre!’ Southampton fans must be quietly seething.
Bonus track: Here’s Hojbjerg again, this time on another driving midfield mission that resulted in him towering over a LASK player offering him out, after felling one of our valiant boys.
More, please.

Confidence in his ability you mean? I like to see that also.
Like to see him attempt that in front of our defenders against Citeh or Liverpool though! 🤔
Like to see him mess about on the ball like that in front of our goal against Citeh or Liverpool! 😂
Haringey borough. Big game later. FA cup. Away to Maldon & tiptree. UP THE SPURINGEY. To dare is to carpe diem
Under 18s 4 reading 4.
Game after game Hojbjerg is proving a revelation. More of everything than you could ever have imagined. He now f*cking pirouettes like Cruyff, tackles like ‘Chopper’ Harris, threatens the opposition like Roy Keane, offers up his best Terry Butcher impersonation (or Basil Fawlty after his encounter with the moose in ‘the Germans’ sketch!) and regularly out-passes all the players on the pitch (Harry Winks please note, he can actually pass the ball forward!). There is only one problem, how do we replace him when he doesn’t play?!
Pierre-Emille Cyborg. We cashed in on the Ponce of Denmark and got the Terminator.
Love him wow
