Please cheer up Korea, Republic of Korea fighting!
In a similar vein to the UK’s applause for our NHS staffers, our friends in South Korea gave launched a National Cheering Relay which so far has gone through the nations’ Naval Academy, the Army Academy, and the Korean Military Academy.
Sonny pays tribute to the Korean medical students and volunteers as well as giving a shout out to Academy Award-winning South Korean film-maker and writer Bong Joon-Ho – telling the Parasite director that he’s next up to be the next runner in the relay to give hope to the people with a cheer.
This is also welcome footage to confirm that both of Sonny’s arms appear to work just great!
