Unsung hero time after a frustrating draw is hardly a cause for celebrations, but it can provide useful context along the way. Heung Son-Min, in the midst of mediocrity did a better than decent job.
Sonny had 4 attempts on goal, of which 3 were on target, but it was his play beyond the striker role that marked the South Korean out.
A passing accuracy of a whopping 97% set the tone. One failed pass is exceptional, no matter who you’re playing.

Son’s dribbling skills were (comparatively) immense with an 83% success rate. As with Erik Lamela, this was creative break up play, that we were sorely light on.
Only Erik Lamela took more shots on goal, only Watford’s Ismaila Sarr created more chances, nobody made more passes in the attacking third.
Sadly, it might be a case of enjoying Sonny while we have him. Expect big clubs to come in if no CL next season.
Oh oh I got it I got it. Stop being a money hoarding teat????
Sonny doesn’t look happy in his playing style, he needs help up front..
Cant stand Liverpool supporters but hats off to that team…
Top 4 should be easy this year based on current teams around us if only our chairman did something..cant quite put my finger on what though 🤔
