“He’s not good” Spurs fans not impressed with latest transfer speculation

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham continues to be linked with a move for Real Betis striker Loren Moron and it is safe to say that Spurs fans are not too impressed.

Reports are claiming that Jose Mourinho is keen on the 26-year-old who has a reported release clause between £33 million and £53 million depending on who you believe.

The chances of Tottenham splashing out even £33 million on a player that is being touted as a back up to Harry Kane is a bit far fetched, to say the least.

But even if he was being signed to play alongside the England captain and not as a backup, it is still a stretch to think that Daniel Levy would lay out that sort of money.

Add to that the fact that Barcelona are also said to be interested in the Betis hitman and the chances of Moron turning out for Spurs next season seem to be remote.

All that aside, Tottenham fans appear to be unimpressed regardless of his fee.

In all fairness, I know very little about the player but what I have read I am not convinced but if Mourinho does sign him up then I have trust that he knows more about the player’s ability than most of us.
