This is probably the biggest game so far this season for Tottenham and that is saying something when you consider they have already played Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal.
It can be classed as a six-pointer because whoever wins will put themselves in a very good position leading up to the new year and begin to put a little gap between the top and the teams in the chasing pack.
A win would also be a huge confidence boost simply because the winning team will have every right to be considered the best team in the league at this stage.
We probably already know in advance how this game will unfold, Liverpool will dominate possession and Tottenham will look to break on the counter-attack at every opportunity.
This game is tailor-made for Jose Mourinho but Liverpool are at home and will have some fans in attendance, which has proven to be a bit of an advantage, well, maybe not for Arsenal.
This is the Tottenham team!

Hasn’t he got the sniffles?
I feel both excited and sick at the same time ! Lets face it , if we are to win the PL then a Win tonight is a watershed moment . They are unsure in defence and its Christmas. Almost.
No Bale? Really?
Regi and ndom coming on at some point, dele over vinny .
Tough gig let’s get it done like man city pls.
If any team warrants full strength its Liverpool though
It’s ok..but why Davies over Reggi…
He lacks pace and common sense
Had to give Sergio a rest eventually.
Hope Davies puts in a shift with the team
