Truth be told, Parrott has been struggling in general. The Millwall loan was a damp squib, and he was soon struggling to get meaningful minutes. The transfer to Ipswich hasn’t been exactly electric either. But this was his first goal since driving out of Hotspur Way. So well done.
Troy had 3 shots on goal, only this one was on target; the 19-year-old made a couple of interceptions and beyond this, it was all a tad unremarkable. There were 5 touches in the penalty area, but only two were successful and this goal was the other one.
We wish him well, but there’s a lot to do.
Looking like he’ll be one we try and squeeze £10m out of some championship team for, and then pin our hopes on young Dane Scarlett instead.
