Tottenham summer signing Manor Solomon has been out of action since October last year.
During a training session, the left-winger suffered a meniscus injury to his right knee, requiring surgery and initiating a recovery process.
Solomon’s absence has spanned around six months, causing him to miss 24 games for the club during this period.
The 24-year-old recently shared an injury update via his official Instagram handle.
The message read:
“Hi everyone, lately I’ve been away from social media and focusing solely on my rehab and getting back on the field.
“The last period has been the most difficult and frustrating in my career.
“In the past 5 months I’ve been working as hard as possible to get back to doing what I love the most, but unfortunately, I haven’t fully recovered yet.
“At the same time, I’m full of motivation and will continue to do everything in order to be back stronger than ever to help my club & country.
“Thank you for your support, see you guys soon.”
In the comments, James Maddison expressed his support for his teammate, stating:
“Can’t wait to have you back on the pitch brother.”
The Lilywhites secured the signing of Manor Solomon from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer on a free transfer, after being left impressed by his performances at Fulham last season.
He made a bright start to his Spurs career, prior to his injury, managing two assists in his brief playing time, totalling 198 minutes across 5 appearances in the Premier League this season. (Transfermarkt)
Given that the player did not mention when he could return, it can be assumed that he won’t be back anytime soon.
