Harry Kane has posted a message to his followers while showing his class by thanking the NHS during a testing time.
As the number of cases and deaths continue to rise on a daily basis in the UK as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, it is undoubtedly putting huge stress on the healthcare system in the country.
The Tottenham captain was keen to show his appreciation through social media, as he posted a message on his Instagram stories.
“Look after yourselves and your loved ones,” he wrote. “To the NHS staff, none of us can thank you enough.”
Kane used an image taken outside of Wembley Stadium which had a large ‘Thank you NHS’ message on display from outside, and his post will no doubt be appreciated by many.
The England international is currently sidelined with an injury, while the Premier League announced on Thursday that all fixtures were suspended until April 30 at the earliest.
However, the season has been extended indefinitely to allow for the remaining games to be played, and so Kane will hope to be involved if the fixtures are rescheduled from early May onwards.
