What a day for Harry Kane, he finally gets his name on the score sheet after providing four assists for Son Heung-Min.
Sadly, it was not Son that grabbed the assist but the post, well, the post from Erik Lamela.
Kane has been involved in all five goals and usually, that would mean the man of the match, but not today, that honour will go to Sonny.
It has been a brilliant second half from Spurs and hopefully, this will now kick start their season properly.
We’ll see how that plays out but there’s no way Levy would dump an asset like Dele on the cheap. Dele is very talented, do I think Jose is the right style of manager for him? Probably not.
It’s like what’s happening with Tanguy, a winning goal in one game and the setting up of an equaliser in the next takes him from being the biggest transfer flop in our history to the best ting since sliced bread the next.
Just think of an in form Dele playing alongside Bale, Son and Kane. Another goal source in a formidable attacking four. Not sure that Jose is that attack minded to take advantage on that but what a mouthwatering prospect.
I see Moura as the odd one out now Bale has come as well as Bergwijn, not Dele. Dele brings something different,
Moura is an honest and useful player and but with Bale and Bergwijn I’m not sure where his game time will come from. Unless we’re trying to win four trophies, no problem for Jose you see! 😂
That’s what I never really understood about people saying that he’s a waste space. Some even suggesting it as part of the reason Poch was sacked!
No club gives up on a 22 year old from overseas after 12 months if they were good enough for you to sign in the first place. He’s the best midfielder at the club by some way when it comes to quality.
What do you think about the sub then? It’s just my hunch, if Jose cave Stand the guy why start him at all?
Got to say i didnt agree with the amateur body language experts on Bt sport, jenas bs ing about how the players dont look up for it?
Started great with an early goal which imo would have stood pre var. The psychological blow of having a goal wiped on the scoring team is vastly understated, imo.
We then played well for 15 minutes, saints got back into it- took the lead- we score an excellent equaliser and then Jose went to work at halftime, earning his coin with the substitution and tweak of shape (how many pundits will credit him this?)
Having a decent bench is great. I dont think it was a mistake to start Tanguy but the tweak for Los Celso was effective and how refreshing it is to actually feel like players on the bench cannchange games.
If Dele’s thrown a strop at quite frankly what has been the first challange to his brief career then he really is one of his hand signals short of a picnic. I hope the lad hasnt and its just paper bs but he should work at being part of what is turning into a great new squad.
Yep he wasn’t that price without good reason, will become a worldy one day.

A game of 2 halves, one where we had no control of the middle and the other where we just had world class players on the counter attack once Sant’s started to run out of energy:
Hugo 8 – A couple of proper stoppers
Dier 5 – Good on the ball but not so good defending
Sanchez 6 – Had a good game considering he had a lot to do
Davies 6 – Usual miss passes but grow into the game
Doherty 6 – Starting to settle in
Winks 5 – Not much wrong, not much right
IceBurg 6 – Does what he does, played ok, also settling in
N’Dom 7 – huffs & puffs and this time blow the house down with a crucial bit of play before the half
Moura 6 – Wind him up and watch him go

Good point. I was one of those questioning him. Even on the documentary, I didn’t like his demeanour. But he clearly has ability.
We’ve got a lot of games and I guess he’s not played much and he’s been an injury waiting to happen since he’s been with us. It was probably a justifiable sub given the amount of games. I’ve always though he looked class, sorry to say I told you so. Not to you but a few on here…
