Rangers have made the perfect start to the second half, scoring within 3 minutes of restart to take the lead against Tottenham.

It is Hamza Igamane with the goal who fires in a half-volley past Fraser Forster after James Tavernier put in a sublime pass behind the two central defenders. The pass was so good it beat all three of Radu Dragusin, Archie Gray and Pedro Porro.

It is a fantastic goal from the Scottish side. Watch below:

Ange Postecoglou has 40 minutes to save himself from a 3rd consecutive defeat. The pressure mounts on the Australian to deliver as Spurs continue their woeful form which has seen them win just one of their last 7 games.

They lost 1-0 to Bournemouth on last week before throwing away a 2 goal lead to lose 4-3 to London rivals Chelsea this past weekend.

Former Spurs midfielder turned pundit Jamie O’Hara called for the club to sack the manager after the Chelsea defeat while reputable insider Paul O’Keefe claimed that while his immediate future at the club is safe, the next few games will decide his fate. Among those games was the game which they currently trail 1-0.

There have been several managers who have been linked with the job amid growing speculations. This includes Brentford boss Thomas Frank and Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna.

Postecoglou arrived last summer, replacing Antonio Conte and rejuvenating the club with an attacking style of play. His early impact was undeniable, as Spurs climbed the table and thrilled fans with free-flowing football. However, injuries derailed their momentum last season, culminating in a fifth-place finish.

Despite significant summer reinforcements, including Dominic Solanke, Tottenham’s performances have been inconsistent, and the club has continued to be a victim of a massive injury crisis with around 6 first-team players currently out injured.

But regardless, it is upto the manager to navigate the club around the existing problems. Whether the club can salvage any points tonight remains to be seen but one thing is for certain – Ange’s future is not entirely safe.
