Azza Blud is pictured here with club president Berna Gözbaşı, as he embarks upon what will possibly be his last professional football adventure, a two-year deal with Turkish side, Kayserispor. The above Tweet sure is a long way removed from his move to Merseyside.
Lennon left Tottenham in February 2015, and his traditional ‘holding up the shirt’ moment for Everton made for an unhappy snap – perhaps hinting at the personal problems the player was fighting at the time.
I felt Azza should have been moved on from Spurs way before he did, and in truth had he, he might have done better for himself than he did.
Lennon was top drawer in his pomp but seemed to lose his spark in his late 20s. He was never a moments trouble at Spurs, good luck to him.
Bale Modric Vandervart and Lennon midfield was electric and world class and still sets the standard today, best of luck azza blud
