Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Tottenham striker Richarlison will be a player to watch during the North London derby.
Tottenham are in hot form this season. They are unbeaten so far in the league, drawing 1 and winning four in a row.
They are playing some of the most attractive football in the league and are beaming with confidence ahead of the derby.
And Richarlison who has been struggling since signing for Spurs may have finally found his moment that could revive his form.
He came off the bench to inspire a stunning comeback against Sheffield scoring a header in the 98th minute and assisting the winner 2 minutes later.
And Ian Wright believes the Brazilian could end up being a problem for Arsenal this weekend.
Wright expressed his belief that Richarlison could be a key player for Tottenham in the North London derby.
He sees the Brazilian forward as capable of scoring 10 to 12 goals in the season, provided he maintains his current form.
The Arsenal legend also praised Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, for helping Richarlison regain his confidence and composure.
The time off and easing him back into the squad appear to have had a positive impact on the player.
“You’re looking at a team now that is a very confident and a player up front who if he can now throw in 10, 12 goals which he’s easily capable of doing Richarlison now his head’s clear and everything – they’re going to cause people problems.”
“He (Richarlison) seems to have stopped the noise in his head, the manager’s given him time out of it and brought him in and eased him into and now he feels more at ease.”
We will be going to the Emirates full of confidence and are very much capable of coming out with a result.
