Game Over? Fulham vs Spurs Suddenly In Doubt

By The Boy -

The Athletic understands that after a number of people at Fulham tested positive, and that the fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be under threat.

For those of you you still stumbling about, seeing Quality Street as a perfectly natural dessert to every main meal or snack, today is Tuesday and tomorrow is Wednesday, are currently scheduled to play Fulham in the Premier League, at 18:00hrs.

To be blunt, a rescheduling of this game wouldn’t hurt Spurs at all. The more recovery time a squad with just one first team striker in its ranks gets, the better. A game every 3 or 4 days for this squad is not the one.

The longer this Coronavirus business rumbles on, the more natural it will be for people to develop a fatigue to the best practises.

Vini and young jack will get played. José likes them both.

It is all about the way the 2 squads match up. In other words, there really is very little sense in comparing results to the same opponent.

I am honestly very curious to see how Spurs match up to Leeds. From the little that I have watched them, Leeds likes to press up high, and is very prone to getting countered multiple times by competent squads. They appear almost unyielding to any idea of changing their approach.

1 striker I thought we have 2 Harry and Vinícius how come we never play the Brazilian lad why Mourinho not trying different setups ie 2 strikers or even Vinícius can be a winger what is wrong with Spurs why get the guy pay him and not play him wasting money all over the place Jack Clark is another one paid 10mill and not playing the swans guy another one 20+ mill not playing and we still looking to add players, any new players that came to the rest of the other Pl teams settled in smoothly Spurs we have always difficult our players to gel quickly ffs we saying Lamela next season last 7 years I don’t know we are cursed I guess.

When Leeds got beat 4-3 in their opening match away at Liverpool that was a positive statement of intent where their attractive fluid style remains unchanged!!

Leeds are the most interesting team in the league – no team has looked more ‘rabbits in the headlights’ amateurish in defence in some games…but then other games they’re positively mercurial.

Dunno which ones we’ll get – if they’re ripping it up against the Bagies they’re probably due a counterbalancing clueless showing.

Hopefully.
