Tottenham left-back Ryan Sessegnon is set to depart North London this summer, with a potential return to his former club Fulham on the horizon.
According to Peter Rutzler of The Athletic, the Cottagers are reportedly considering re-signing their former youth player.
Sessegnon joined Spurs in the summer of 2019 for a significant fee of €27 million, arriving as a highly sought-after talent.
Sessegnon’s time at Tottenham marred with injuries
However, his time at the Lilywhites has been plagued by injuries, limiting his impact over the past four years.
The London-born wing-back has made just 57 appearances for the Lilywhites, contributing with 3 goals and 4 assists.
Last season was particularly challenging for Sessegnon, as he managed only one appearance due to persistent injuries, including a recurring hamstring issue that sidelined him for almost 11 months.
Despite these setbacks, Fulham manager Marco Silva views the 24-year-old as a versatile addition who can provide depth in both the left-wing and left-back positions.

Throughout his career, Sessegnon has faced numerous injuries, accumulating over 814 days—more than two years—on the sidelines.
However, Fulham hopes that a return to Craven Cottage could see the Englishman rediscover his best form.
During his previous spell with the Whites, Sessegnon had a promising run, scoring 25 goals and providing 18 assists in 120 appearances across all competitions.
