French Side Trying To Rustle Up €50M

By The Boy -

The Danny Rose link to PSG appears to be legitimate.

“I will simply say that I came up against Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and it took me three days to work out how best to combat him (Rose). I hope that our transfer window is not closed. We need players in a few positions. I trust the club and our sporting director [Antero Henrique] to find solutions. €50m Euros on one player is a lot of money. Still, it is a money issue and I do not know more than that.”

Thomas Tuchel, the Paris St Germain gaffer has been quoted in the Sun as all but saying he is desperate to get a deal for Danny over the line.

Rose’s fall from grace has been more of a collapse than a fall, and barring Ben Davies picking up an injury, there is little to suggest Rose will experience a renaissance at Spurs.

The transfer deadline window in Europe closes on August 31st.

As mentioned previously, Davies is solid left back, but one would hardly pick him above all others to play as a ‘wing back’.

So Rose’s inability to make the Tottenham first team probably looks as bad as it.

That said, beyond the best XI, Mauricio Pochettino has the square foot of naff all to choose from – so the decision to sell another player casts serious doubt over the club’s intentions to credibly pursue a trophy anytime soon.

Rose to PSG?

I don’t believe he’s got it in him, and the boy’s ambitions are limited to how little effort he can get away with.
