Journalist Loic Tanzi has shared that Luka Vuskovic ‘chose to join Tottenham’
Tottenham signed 7 players in the summer including Guglielmo Vicario James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Micky van de Ven, Ashley Phillips, Brennan Johnson, and Alejo Veliz.
The loan deals of Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski were also made permanent.
In terms of outgoings, Ange received a major setback with superstar striker Harry Kane leaving for Bayern Munich. Besides him, the club offloaded a number of players that were considered surplus to requirements either on loan deals or permanent moves.
It was reported last week that Spurs are close to completing the signing of highly rated Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic.
The Croatian wonderkid has been a standout performer for Hajduk Split and is highly regarded for his defensive prowess and ball-playing abilities.
According to Tanzi, Tottenham ‘will’ complete the signing of the young defender now and the transfer fee involved in the deal is unconfirmed but according to Tanzi, it is in the region of €10m.
Due to Vuskovic’s young age, he is expected to remain with his current club, Hajduk, until he turns 18, allowing him to continue his development before joining Tottenham.
Vuskovic is not expected to join England until he turns 18, which he will turn on February 24, 2025.
The highly promising young defender possesses the potential to solidify his position as a first-team player for Tottenham.
His development could ultimately translate to substantial savings for the London club in the transfer market should he fulfill his potential with them.
