Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.
The 27-year-old has struggled for game time because of persistent injury problems and his performances have not been up to the mark either. Clubs like Fluminense are keen to provide him with an exit route from the London club and former Premier League defender Thiago Silva has now opened the door to a potential move.
The 40-year-old central defender has now revealed that Richarlison would be welcome at Fluminense if he wants to join the club. Silva added that the Brazilian striker has a bright future ahead of himself, but he’s going through a difficult phase in his career.
Silva said via CNN Brasil:“Maybe in the future he could come back. Richarlison has a very big future ahead of him in Europe. Of course, if he decides to come to Fluminense, he’ll be welcome. He’s going through a difficult time in his career, with injury after injury. But he’s a very good kid. I’m sure it will turn things around and there’s still a lot to do in Europe”.
It will be interesting to see if the player wants to move to South America in the coming months. There is no doubt that he has a lot to prove in Europe and he has time on his side. The striker is at the peak of his powers, and he should look to work hard and get back to top form instead of leaving Europe at this stage of his career.

He has previously shown his quality in England with Everton, but the move to Tottenham has not worked out as expected. He has struggled to find the back of the net consistently and his overall performances have been mediocre as well.
Ange Postecoglou was expected to get the best out of the player, but Richarlison has had consistent injury problems in recent months. The striker clearly needs a bit of luck to get his career back on track.
