Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae this summer.
Antonio Conte has already signed Clement Lenglet on a season-long loan from Barcelona, but with Japhet Tanganga’s future uncertain, the manager appears eager to add to his squad.
Spurs have been linked with a move for the South Korean for the majority of the transfer window, and while he still has three years left on his contract with Luciano Spalletti’s side, he could be on his way to the Premier League after details of a buyout clause were revealed.
According to Football.London, Conte ‘would like to add depth’ in that central defensive position and thus ‘could go for’ Min-Jae. As per the report, the 25-year-old ‘has a £40m release clause’ in his contract with Napoli and is a ‘firm favourite’ of the Spurs manager.
According to reports, the north London club ‘could still dip’ into the transfer market as the manager ‘looks for a new centre-back’ before the transfer window shuts.
Yeah, he’s played one game! I bet he hasn’t finished unpacking.
My error, that would help explain it.Japanese and Koreans are good bedfellows.
Tomiyasu is Japanese, not Korean.
Son being witth us didn’t work out too well getting Tomiyasu.Which left us with Royal.
I agree, after Tottenham are about to loan out Ndombele to Napoli it seems like they could be opening space for a creative midfielder.
100% click bate. He just joined Napoli and played his first game with the club. Napoli have almost finished negotiations with Tottenham for Ndombele on loan, so the clubs are in good relations. It’s fake news.
Didn’t he only join Napoli 3 weeks ago?!
!00% agreed
I think we have a better chance of signing unbreakabke Kimmy Schmidt than Mr. Kim.
This of course is utter rubbish! We are NOT interested in Kim Min Jae, as we could have bought him on 3 separate occasions in the last two seasons, for very considerably less than this and we declined to do so each time. This was in spite of the huge advantage of Son playing for us, which meant the boy would have snapped our hands off. Consequently we are categorically NOT interested in the boy and the original article is worthless clickbait!
We need to ‘dip into the market’ for a desperately needed creative midfielder.
This is poor recycling of click bait transfer gossip – he only signed for Napoli a couple of weeks ago. Have a word with yourself
Why pay £40m when we could have bought him for £16m a month ago
Hmm I think you’re being a bit harsh Antonio.
You know Harry’s stance on click bait rumours. He simply wouldn’t allow it on his blog. It would be unethical and hypocritical.
If it’s posted on this blog you can pretty much bet your house on it happening!
Expect to see this player in a Spurs shirt before the window shuts!
