Hoovering up proven Premier League talent is surely where it is at for a team like Spurs, and annoying West Ham fans is always a good move. Gibbs-White was a core part of a hugely desirable Nottingham Forest side.

Looking at Gibbs-White, he will provide a valuable counterpoint to Brennan Johnson, who we might see move into a more central position, where his talent for converting forward possession into goals would surely be enhanced.

Equally, looking at Mohammed Kudos, this transfer will provide an exciting contrast to James Maddison and hopefully raise the Englishman’s game.
