Fabio Paratici gives an update on talks with Harry Kane about his future

By Bruce Grove -

Fabio Paratici says he has no interest in discussing the future with Harry Kane while he enjoys his time with the England national team at Euro 2020.

Kane has asked to leave the club this summer after Tottenham failed to win a trophy again last season.

The England captain remains one of the best strikers in the world and Tottenham is very keen on keeping hold of him for another season.

The Lilywhites know it would be hard for a club to meet their demands, but no one can predict how things will turn out in the transfer window.

Paratici, their new director of football, insists that the plan is to keep him for another campaign.

He also said that he is keen to watch the striker play live and acknowledged that he is one of the best in the world.

The administrator then insisted that he has no interest in discussing the striker’s future now because everyone is focused on Euro 2020 with their countries.

He told Sky Sports Italia via Il Bianconero: “Continuing to enjoy him is a goal of the whole club, I can’t wait to see him play live. In these years of Juventus I have seen great forwards at work, the various Ronaldo, Dybala, Tevez, Higuain and who knows.

“How many do I forget … Kane is one of the best in the world, a special player who combines a real bomber physique and refined technique, kicks with both feet and gives many assists.

“Since he scores so many goals, few people notice how much a player he is too team as well as finalizer. In the top three forwards in the world. I’m not feeling it these days because it doesn’t seem right to disturb them while they are focused on the European Championships. “

Still fans who cling on to every word enic put out and believe these 5yr plans every 2yrs. Look at Liverpool since we played them in the cl final. Look at Leicester since we ran them so close to the title. Levy always goes for the easiest and most importantly cheapest option which means keep the players sack the manager. Never going to change with this plan and these owners. True spurs fans will give enic nothing not one single penny as much as it might hurt and as wrong as it might feel.

Levy made promises and hasn’t kept them.

What happens next is directly associated with his investment into the team – which was supposed to show ambition (to Harry).

To achieve the fans and Harry’s ambition, we needed the raw materials (a stronger squad) of likeminded folk (mindset and ability) like Kane.

The longer Harry’s with the England team will just increase his desire to play with the best professional players in the country.

How can any Spurs fan not see the big picture here and what’s been going on?

Anyone really think Harry’s enthusiastic about pre season with the bunch of clowns we’ve assembled.

…and they are clowns.

Yes Harry wants to stay at a club that has won 1 littlewoods Cup in 20+ years. He is 28 this year. Do you see him wanting to stay at this joke of a club. I thank him for all his service. If the owners had matched his effort we would have won a lot more trophies. Leave Harry go to city, man utd, Chelsea, Liverpool or psg and win medals. You won’t get them here with enic in control.
