German manager Julian Nagelsmann has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.
Clubs like Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be keen on bringing him to England this summer, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
The North London giants recently sacked Antonio Conte, and they will need to bring in a quality long-term replacement.
On the other hand, Nagelsmann was recently sacked by Bayern Munich and the 35-year-old is currently out of a job.
While the German manager is highly rated around Europe, former England manager Fabio Capello does not seem to be a fan of the former Bayern Munich manager.
Sharing his thoughts on Nagelsmann, Capello revealed that the German manager gives off the idea that he knows everything at a young age, but he has a lot to learn as a manager.
“I didn’t like Nagelsmann very much,” the ex-Real Madrid manager told (h/t HITC).
“He gave the impression of already knowing everything at 35. But he was doing well.”
There is no doubt that the 35-year-old is a talented young manager who is highly rated around Europe. However, he is clearly lacking in experience, and he will need to learn a lot in order to build a successful managerial career.
It will be interesting to see if he is willing to take up the challenge at Tottenham at the end of the season.
His high-intensity attacking football could prove to be a major hit at the North London club, and Tottenham certainly have the players to execute his style of play as well.
