Torino’s 23-year-old star midfielder Samuele Ricci has attracted the attention of Europe’s big clubs.
Ricci is especially on the transfer list of giants such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham. Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan have been in negotiations with Torino over the transfer of Ricci for months. It is still unclear whether the Serie A giants will meet the price of approximately 35/40 million euros set for the transfer.
The Boy Hotspur understands Premier League teams such as Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City are also among the teams that follow Ricci closely. Ricci is noted for his ability to play in both defensive midfield and central midfield positions, and is highly in demand in the European arena.
Ricci is especially notable for his improvement this season. With his speed, game vision, and ball distribution abilities, he draws a modern playmaker profile. He could be an ideal midfield option for both clubs.
Torino President Urbano Cairo is clear about the player’s transfer: if the desired price is met, they are ready to allow Ricci’s transfer. Despite Torino’s financial expectations, Samuele Ricci wants to evaluate the most suitable project for him.

Our view
This is not a new suggestion, and has always been a transfer favoured for this summer. Perhaps Ange Postecoglou’s presence has been a factor.
Speaking before Christmas, goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains very well-connected at the club, explained that the English side could explore a deal for the midfielder next summer.
“He’s only 23 years old, and he’s already got four caps for Italy. Tottenham are certainly interested in signing him. I think it’ll be tough to do in the winter, but that is potentially one they’ll explore in the summer.”
Tottenham urgently needs to get its house in order.
