Everton’s Starting XI for tonight’s big game

By The Boy -

Everton have a shocking track record against Spurs, having failed to win in the last 14 Premier League attempts, which have seen 7 draws and 7 losses, that said, new gaffer Carlo Ancelotti has installed some discipline since his arrival on Merseyside last Christmas.

Only Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have accrued more Premier League points (25) since Carlo’s arrival, so Spurs are not in for an easy ride. The bookies tend to operate from the historic form and that puts Spurs as @20/21 favourites, with Everton out @10/3, which strikes me as ambitious. Indeed, the draw at @12/5 also appeals.

Spurs’ Harry Kane is on the prowl for his 200th goal in all competitions and after the 3-1 drubbing at Sheffield United, all eyes will be on not just the England captain, but the entire Tottenham team to show the world if they are genuinely interested in fighting out the rest of the season.

Goals and penalties that’s what I foresee. If we don’t get a reaction you can cancel next season as well.
