Euro giants submit ‘formal, concrete proposal’ to sign €16m-rated Tottenham ace

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

A report from 1908.nl claims that Feyenoord have submitted a ‘formal, concrete proposal’ to sign the player who is valued at €16 million.

It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out a deal. It seems that the offer has been submitted to the player and it will be interesting to see if Gil is willing to accept their proposal.

The two clubs could then discuss a potential transfer fee.

Feyenoord managed to win the league title last season and they have an exciting squad. The opportunity to play regularly for them could be a tempting proposition for the Spaniard. He has been linked with a return to the Spanish league as well. Sevilla are reportedly one of the clubs keen on him.

The opportunity to return to his homeland might be more attractive for the player, but there is no concrete proposal on the table yet. It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old decides to wait for an offer from Spanish clubs.

Bryan Gil needs to leave Tottenham

He does not have a future at Tottenham and a summer exit would be ideal for all parties. Tottenham will hope to get rid of him permanently and recoup some money for the winger.

Gil was regarded as one of the most talented young attacking players in Spanish football when he moved to Tottenham, but his development has not gone according to plan. He has struggled for regular gametime, and it seems that he has failed to win over the trust of manager Ange Postecoglou.

It would be ideal for all parties to go their separate ways this summer.
