Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.
The 27-year-old has struggled for regular game time this season and he has made just three appearances for Tottenham across all competitions this season.
He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and the player has been linked with clubs like Juventus and Barcelona.
According to a report from Tutto Juve via Team Talk, Tottenham are prepared to sell the player for cheap and Barcelona are leading the race for his signature.
Apparently, Spurs would cash in on the player for a fee of around £15 million and it remains to be seen whether he returns to Spain with Barcelona. The Spanish giants could certainly use more creativity and depth in their minds field and the Argentine international could be a useful option for them.
He would be available for a reasonable price as well. Given their financial limitations, this would be a good deal for Barcelona.
Lo Celso has previously proven himself in the Spanish league with Villarreal and Real Betis.
He was expected to be given a chance under new manager Ange Postecoglou this season but things have not worked out under the Australian so far and it makes sense for the two parties to go separate ways.
It will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to cash in on him in January and invest the proceeds in a new midfielder.
