Spanish winger Bryan Gil has had a difficult time since joining Tottenham Hotspur.
He has never really managed to hold down a regular starting spot at the North London club and he has had a loan spell away from the club as well. The 22-year-old has barely had any opportunities this season, and he is being linked with an exit from the club now.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina are keen on the 22 year-old. The Italian outfit are ‘intrigued’ by the Spanish winger and Tottenham would be ‘open to the transfer’.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can work out a deal soon.
The player was on at Sevilla last season and it remains to be seen whether he joins the Italian club on a loan deal during the second half of the season now. Vincenzo Italiano is looking to bring in a wide player and the Tottenham winger could prove to be a useful acquisition.
He was highly rated during his time in Spain and he could develop into a key player for Fiorentina with regular opportunities. He is still quite young and he has plenty of time to get his career back on track.
A move away from Spurs this month is more likely to be a loan deal, but a permanent exit could be beneficial for all parties as well. It is evident that he does not have a future at Tottenham and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
