Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been criticised heavily for his for performances this season.
The 26-year-old has not been able to live up to the expectations since his big-money move from Everton.
The striker managed to score just three goals across all competitions last season and he has found the back of the net twice this season.
He was expected to step up and fill the void left by Harry Kane when he joined Bayern Munich earlier this summer.
Things have clearly not gone according to plan and the Brazilian has disappointed with his displays.
ESPN pundit Craig Burley has now revealed that Ange Postecoglou is not convinced with the Brazilian international and Tottenham could look to get rid of Richarlison in the near future.
“I think we will see this squad slowly evolving during the international break. There were one or two stories that they were looking to get rid, particularly of Richarlison. I don’t think Postecoglou is convinced at all with him. They have signed Brennan Johnson, Heung-Min Son can play there. They will try to move players out as well as try to get players in. It’s patently obvious that Richarlison is a bit of a bull in a china shop in the Premier League,” Burley said on ESPN.
It will be interesting to see if the Brazilian can get back to his best once again. He is clearly struggling with the lack of confidence and form right now.
He has shown his quality in the Premier League before with Everton and he will need to regain his sharpness quickly.
Spurs are overly dependent on Son Heung-min for goals right now but they will need more support in the attack.
If Richarlison continues to disappoint, they should look to invest in a quality goalscorer.
