Tomorrow is obviously the Carabao cup final, but one issue highlighted on ESPN FC with Craig Burley and Steve Nicol was that of what team selection Pep Guardiola might make. Just a few days after the final, City has an important Champions League against Paris St Germain. With the Premier League title in the bag, it would be remiss of Pep to prioritize a domestic cup over Champions League semi-final.
Will Pep give Spurs a fighting chance?!
I have to stick with my prediction months ago that we’d win this cup. Not so sure now but much more hopeful than I was for CL final against Liverpool.
Compared with how things used to be, all about prioritising nowadays, giving us a chance, but devaluing the competition in the process.
Actually, I was cautiously optimistic in 2008.
Haha. I was living in NYC at the time and flew back and got totally fleeced for a ticket. Worth it though!
I was in California, middle of the night on an old school Eriksen mobile scrambling for updates. California Dreaming I woz! 😀
😆
Yep
Cup team. Cup game. Cup chance. I fancy us.
Hopefully Pep will show us zero respect and play Zinchenko up front and Gundogan in goal.
Amazon reality show.
Excellence or Drama….🤔😋
Yep. They will chuck it.
Had a chat and photo with Alan Brazil who was sitting near me. Nightmare getting home in the rain though.
A period of sustained excellence off the pitch though.
We will take anything. If it’s Eric Dier’s arse I won’t mind
That’s it, I’ve found the root of Spursiness!
Probably, no pressure for them. We always have pressure on to break our ENIC duck!!
13 years mate! ffs… 😂
Nah, curled in winner off that rolled ankle!! 😂
Ledley and Woody got fit enough for a rare 90 mins together. Stopped Chavs from taking the p*ss. COYS!!
Given it’s been a decade plus since we last won anything, you being correct will not stop the excitement and hope!!!!
I disagree the weak link is our midfield… city are known to pass the ball well, thru the lines & attack at pace…Chelsea let City have the ball until they reached their half…we’ll need to do similar but our midfield doesnt have the discipline or work ethos to do it. I suspect Bale & Lo noshow will start leaving us light in that area of the pitch…Having said that if Sanchez & Aurrier start tomorrow its going to be a long day…
We’ve got a real chance. Hopefully all of them are up for making a bit of history. Headed winner by Harry!!!!
Spurs couldn’t possibly win in 2008
I agree. They’ve been relatively lukewarm recently and may be eyeing their game vs PSG in the week. Ryan Mason’s Magic Hat……..COYS
It’s a one off match, so as the boxing fans might say we have a sluggers chance.
If Kane is fit we have a better chance, the one thing we do well is score goals.
Our achilles heel is the defence.
Tomorrow let’s make a little bit of history, we all could do with a little cheering up with one thing and another. Against all the evidence I’m going for a win.
Man Citeeh will win with their second 11.
