ENIC Out Banner Unveiled Outside Stadium To Mixed Reaction [images]

By The Boy -

The start of an earnest anti-ENIC campaign that has been brewing online for some time now has become an active movement with a hardcore of fans having held meetings in recent weeks.

These images are the first publicized action from the group, that is seeking to garner wider support from supporters, as they seek to dispel what they believe to be the myth – that ENIC are a force for good at Spurs.

Regular readers will know my views, and that I have yet to hear a compelling argument in support of the club’s present owners – that stands up to any scrutiny whatsoever.

The reaction to the unfurling of the banner is best described as mixed, which is understandable because many fans are incapable of separating the regime from the team to a certain extent and embracing that seemingly nuanced sweet spot of being unhappy with underinvestment in the squad, and yet still being a die-hard fan.

I’m glad we have finally started to protest against Enic and Levy as we can’t just continue the status quo regarding these failures that own and run our club! we are Tottenham Hotspur a supposedly global club/brand! i hope this sentiment grows to the masses who like us are so sick to the back teeth of under investment in the team, constant penny pinching and using excuses to not sign players to keep the money in Enic’s bank account, we are being left behind and being used for profit and nothing else! enough is enough! we deserve a million times better for all we have had to put up with during their tenure, all these years of no spending, underachieving and failure due to under investment and not buying the players we need season after season and sacking various managers that haven’t been backed and blaming them! Levi is just Lewis puppet, they fail or don’t see you need investment in the team to keep progressing! Levi said spending and success doesn’t go hand in hand! it’s just his excuse to not spend and toe the Enic model! look at the top teams in the premiership and Europe and you can see how stupid a comment that really is! he isn’t hoodwinking us we can see through his bull, what’s more painful is seeing all the other top 5 have purple patches of success winning trophies after investing in the team in the 20 years they have been there! they have all won lots of trophies, all of them but us! there’s a pattern there and it’s been going on for 20 years! it’s unbelievable and it falls on the Enic model of trying to win on the cheap, sadly i can’t see it changing unless Enic/Levi are bought out by owners that want to win things! my biggest fear is we are stuck with them now as they have big revenue streams from more than just football at the new stadium! NFL, Concerts, Boxing equals £££’s which is what they are all about, £££’s that won’t reach the football team! they are not Spurs fans just business people and you can tell that by them selling out the football club to accommodate all these other events, that’s why our famous name and cockerel are not on the seats! shameful, profit over glory! to dare is too dear!
Love Spurs 100% ENIC/Levi Out!!!!

One thing you have to give Levy credit is he probably the cleverest chairman in the EPL. Yes , 1.5b is a lot of money but IF and that’s a big IF , a NFL franchise is offered to Spurs , that valuation do not seems incredulous anymore . The stadium is not a liability but a potential game changer , off the field that is

Fair comment, sadly nobody is going to buy this very expensive pup. Just to pay off the investment you’re looking at over £1.5billion. That’s before you give ENIC a drink on top for themselves.

Sadly, the time to get rid of this mob was one of a handful of voices warning everyone.

Not enough people listened and so now it’s reap the whirlwind time…

The funny thing about Levyologists is that they point to a shiny new stadium but never mention a shiny new trophy cabinet.

The club’s true motto – Profit before Glory (Gloria in conspectu prodest). The new club song will be Pink Floyd’s “Money”.

Could the enic supporting group please back up their argument with a list of trophies since they took over rather than profit figures. One carling cup in twenty years really. Not so long ago we were ahead of Liverpool now look. How is it Liverpool loose the CL final to Madrid then come straight back and win just about everything going. We loose the CL final and are told that is it, that is success enic style.

At least they’re doing something about what they believe in like I did back in the sugar days Rather than just screaming ENIC out like little b!tch€$ constantly

I had been a Levy supporter for a long time and at one stage even considered him the best chairman of an football club on the planet . The financial figures do not lie and its Stellar to say the least .

But I can’t get my head around Pochettino sacking . Yes the results for half a season showed that the team is regressing but that is because it need renewal more than anything else . The Pochettino philosophy is about energy and it delivered Extraordinary results when the team was fresh . Pochettino needed Levy backing but instead he got the sack .To sack the greatest manager in Spurs recent time is just the straw on the canal back for me . I look at Arsenal past and present and I hope not to see Spurs heading that way . Truly if it’s possible , it’s time to see a change in management, with the new stadium in place we are ready for deep pockets owners

Any Spurs fan should understand that it is possible to hate Enic and support Spurs. It is the same for the West Ham fans who hate the Dildo Brothers and Karren Brady but love their club. I sense that the worm is slowly turning amongst the Spurs fans and the media but it will turn very slowly as Levy will employ his PR team to spin spurious rumours about our transfer plans. Anyway, I for one, am delighted that there is some sign of discontent with Enic but it has been a long time coming.
