Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Romanian defender Radu Dragusin.
We covered reports earlier that the North London outfit are keen on signing the 21-year-old central defender who has been a key player for Genoa. He is reportedly valued at €30 million and Tottenham certainly have the finances to get the deal done.
Recent reports via iAM Sport state that the player’s agent is currently in London and he will hold transfer meetings with several interested parties throughout the week. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal to sign Dragusin.
“He’s on several lists, really. For now, there is nothing concrete, let’s have a written offer or something, but I am in London, I will have meetings all week,” the player’s said,
It is no secret that they need to bring in defensive reinforcements and the 21-year-old would be a quality long-term acquisition. He could sort out the Tottenham defensive unit for the foreseeable future alongside players like Cristian Roberto and Micky van de Ven.
The 21-year-old is certainly talented enough to succeed in the Premier League and he could be a quality long-term investment for the North London outfit. The reported asking price could prove to be a bargain for a talent like him, and it remains to be seen whether Spurs can win the race for his signature.
The fact that his agent is in London will be an encouraging development for the Premier League side and it remains to be seen whether they hold talks with him.
