Duncan Castles Alleges 2 Spurs Players Have COVID-19 Then Deletes Tweet|image

It will be interesting to see if this allegation is proved or not. Yesterday a family and friends photo taken from Instagram was doing the rounds, which appeared to be in a clear breach of the UK government’s Coronavirus protocols. The image featured Reguilon and Lamela. If Castles is right, then Reguilon will surely be required to shield.

I take a view that this entire business Coronavirus business has degenerated into farce with the line between science and science fiction having become increasingly blurred. You can’t visit your father, but you can wander about a packed supermarket, knee-deep in unwashed strangers. Ought the police be involved? Sure, if they’ve run out actual crimes to solve, why not.

EDIT: Since publishing, Castles has deleted his Tweet; unsurprisingly, this was immediately after he saw Reggie’s name on the team sheet.

Farce indeed. If there was a real problem football would be forced to shut down…but there isn’t and money can’t be lost on a hoax.

Bookies are shut where I am but I can go into a Costa or Cafe Nero and do the exact same counter transaction, actually I put my bets on the machine so even less human contact than a Cafe….BUT I can drive 5 minutes down the road where it’s tier 3 and bookies are OPEN. This is media driven derrangement syndrome.

Really so now we loose three players for 14 days. Completely selfish. I totally dispair we are rubbish from top to bottom.
