Tottenham’s ongoing injury struggles have extended to their young attacking prospect, Mikey Moore.
The 17-year-old rising star has been sidelined due to a severe illness, and the timeline for his return remains unclear.
Moore, who had shown immense promise earlier in the season, last featured for Spurs in an EFL Cup match against Manchester City at the end of October. Since then, he has been absent for 14 games, leaving a gap in Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

Dr. Rajpal Brar has shed light on Moore’s situation, suggesting that the illness has significantly impacted the teenager’s fitness levels.
According to Brar, the prolonged rest and potential nutritional deficits during his recovery may require an extended period for Moore to regain full fitness.
This implies that his absence could continue for several more matches. Speaking to Tottenham News, the doc said:
“This really comes down to what he has or hasn’t been able to do while ill.
“If he’s been in bed and not eating, then that can significantly impact his fitness levels and conditioning which requires a longer runway.
“Based on his absence, it does sound on the more severe side and he may still be out for multiple games.“
The youngster’s absence has been felt keenly, as he has begun to make his mark this season. He offered glimpses of his immense potential in his 8 appearances across all competitions. His flair and creativity on the pitch even drew high praise from teammate James Maddison, who likened Moore’s style to that of Neymar.
Moore’s journey with Tottenham has been remarkable. Joining the club’s youth academy at the age of 9, he swiftly progressed through the ranks, playing pivotal roles in U17 and U18 teams that won domestic trophies.
His senior debut in May 2024 at just 16 years and 277 days made him the youngest Premier League player in Spurs’ history.
His eventual return will not only provide a boost to Spurs’ attacking options but also offer the team a chance to further develop one of its most promising young talents.
