“Don’t mess up” Spurs fan stating the obvious brings out all the nerves

By Bruce Grove -

It is the sort of thing that most Tottenham fans know but dare not speak about but one did and it brought out a fair amount of negativity.

Tottenham visits Arsenal today and because of the results yesterday and West Ham due to play Man Utd the realisation has hit that top-four all of a sudden is in our own hands, well, if the Hammers lose to the Red Devils that is.

A win today for Spurs against the Gunners, West Ham losing to Man Utd and then Tottenham winning their game in hand over Chelsea against Aston Villa and Spurs will sit fourth on the standings.

A tweet was stuck up by a Spurs fan called Noz Ahmed which stated the obvious and there was no shortage of replies.

These are just a handful of the responses and I am sure that you will notice a theme amongst these replies.

Now, not every response was negative, there was at least one that showed some positivity and was not prepared to accept all the negativity on display.

We are catching the top 4 group , momentum is with us – a win would be great – a draw would be ok – Jose will be looking for the 3 points . if we keep performing as we have done over the past 2/3weeks with 13/14 players stepping up – we will be in the running for 2 cups and top 4 .

It’s Sad but True we Never take the initiative when the opportunity arises, and I will be very surprised if it happens today. Happy with a boring draw 🤔
