Injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar has shared the latest update on Tottenham defender Ryan Sessegnon.
Spurs have had a number of injuries this season, with nearly 21 players out with an injury over the course of the campaign.
They finally looked like they are over their injury concerns with a near to complete squad but both Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie have picked up issues and are now doubts for the game against Wolves.
Another player who is not going to be available for the Wolves game and beyond is Sessegnon.
He has been sidelined since the summer with a hamstring injury sustained during training and only returned to action against Burnley last month, playing a few minutes.
But he picked up an injury again which has kept him out since then. Dr Brar has now shared the latest on Sessegnon. Speaking to Tottenham News, he explained that the player is stuck in a re-injury cycle and is finding it hard to get out of it.
He explained:
“He is stuck in a re-injury cycle and is finding it extremely hard to get out of it.
“Playing matches and being as diligent as he can with his health can go a long way towards solving the problem.
“It could be the lack of sleep, stress that needs reducing, nutrition or strength training and conditioning.
“Narrowing down on the issue and then working diligently towards solving it will be the keys to him getting out of that cycle.
“I see him missing a few more weeks.“
TBH Says:
This could be the end of Sessegnon’s time at Spurs. Despite the great talent and potential, he has not been able to live up to it, mainly due to recurring injuries.
It is very likely that Levy will look to offload the player and bring in another left-back to cover for Destiny Udogie.
