I noted last night that our old pal Gian Luca DiMarzio had mentioned in passing Tottenham’s ‘in the notebook’ interest in Dani Ceballos.

And this morning, evidence of a blow up at Real Madrid that could turn out to be advantageous to Tottenham.

This source in the Italian press was reporting that the central midfielder was at loggerheads with Zinedine Zidane.

The 22 year-old has struggled to make starting elevens at Real Madrid, over the last two seasons, 29 appearances came from the substitute’s bench.

Novantesimo go on to say that Zidane has told the Sevilla boy that his time at Los Blancos was up, to which Dani’s response was “No problem, I don’t want to work with you either”.

Cabellos might just be the Get Out Of Jail card Daniel Levy was looking for.

Dani would be substantially cheaper than either Tanguy NDombele or Giovani Lo Celso.

Here’s the stellar goal the Spainish U21 star scored last night against Italy’s U21.

He’s right you know but changing half your team in one hit ain’t good. A unfamiliar team of quality would probably lose against a team with lesser quality but familiar. The team would be wicked the following season under poch

Dani Cabellos would not be enough. One to replace Dembele, one to replace Wanyama and or Dier. Eriksen has burnt his bridges at Spurs. Why would you offer him a new contract when he has openly declared he wants to leave? Two new fullbacks needed, a supplementary striker and possibly a centre half to replace Toby. The team needs a massive influx of new blood. Over to our indecisive, parsimonious, inept and overpaid chairman.

Why just stop at this lad, all 3 would really make a huge difference, or at least 2 of the 3?

Struck that correctly didn’t he. So can I occasionally. A few screamers don’t make a player. He can play though.
