Crisis: Tanguy Ndombele’s Allegedly Finished With Mourinho And Wants Out Of Tottenham

By The Boy -

It will be interesting to see how football media responds to this news, given the animosity certain sections of the press, and of course, all those fans out there who have an allergy to winning…

Telefoot is a good a source as any and the fact that adds value to the report of an alleged break up is that Tanguy Ndombele hasn’t featured in any of the Project Restart games for Spurs so far. The 23-year-old was on the bench against Manchester United and West Ham, but not called upon in either game, which was frankly questionable.

So who is the villain in this piece? Mourinho has form for high profile spats with players. Ndombele himself is no angel and has hit the headlines before now for being incapable of maintaining fitness at previous clubs.

This situation stinks and the sooner it is remedied the better. No top-flight side can afford to carry dead weights at any point, let alone right now. On his day, Tanguy is a gifted machine, a player you can build a team around.

Whatever the truth is, Spurs need this boy fixed up and in the first XI ASAP.

I have no faith in the lad, seen enough already.. It seems jose has too… Who is this American Bigger Biggs downvoting all my comments? 😂 Spit it out Biggs if you disagree and have something to say. I’m all for hearing a different opinion.. You think ndombollocks is a superstar and should be starting every game i guess? He’s one of the glaring reasons we are mid table. I would love to be proven wrong and really hope we have signed the next kante who can also score as well as create,, but this bum can’t get in the team nor manage 90minutes. When he does play its a 50 50 whether he runs or not. Wolves and Burnley most players would be ashamed, but the look on his face was smugness. His whole attitude and aura while refusing to run was infuriating.. Pub players pay 5 or 10 pounds a week to play, they wouldnt put up with that 💩 and I’m talking amateurs.

Tanguy is far from a lost cause, however under Jose he might be…

You however are one of the sensible ones Marbs who see it more than just ‘entertainment’
in a shiny new entertainment venue with bottom filling pints. We want actions and on-pitch
commitment from the owners, the chairman that correlates with his first ever appearance on the
Sunday Times Rich List this year ffs.

Huge stadium debt, one of the lowest net spends in the league and the 7th highest wage budget
while Daniel makes it on the Rich List… if the mugs can’t still can’t smell a rat then they’re thicker than I
ever imagined….

Don’t hold it against Mourinho for letting Salah and Debruyne go he had better players ahead of them at the time and they wanted to play so unless he kept them and they ran their contracts down he had no choice but to agree to sell them.I think he always rated them,he let Lukaku go from Chelsea as well.

Nothing is new to Jose in football

Mourinho was spot on about Shaw who was overweight and as against us on Friday night is still making mistakes. N’dombele cost £53.7m not what the media say £60m.I think we could get a good swap deal and a player on half his wages.

Jose is very stubborn, might be a new experience for him to put an arm around a player and work things out.

Who really knows what effort Jose has put into getting something out of him or a change of attitude. Agree it does take time for some players to adapt.
Modric was voted the worst summer signing in his first season at Real.
Unfortunately we know Jose can be very stubborn, didn’t he let Salah and De Bryne go.?

I think it normally takes about a year for a player from an overseas league to settle into life in the UK and the pace of the PL. There were plenty of Spurs fans who didn’t think Modric would make it in the PL, (I wasn’t one of them). N’dombele is a gifted player but he had a bad reputation at Lille before he came to Spurs. Why do you think that none of the top European sides bought him? I would prefer if he developed into a fantastic player at Spurs but I have my doubts. The difference between a good player and a great player usually lies between the ears, and I see no evidence that he has the right mental attitude.

For sure.. Sissoko and lamela are both triers though. They play with their hearts on their sleeves. Both hard workers.. Its a shame cocos time has been ravished with injuries. He can’t help that really… Ndombele doesnt have it upstairs its plain to see now… Any fat amateur playing for their pub club shows moments of class too… Maureen has had tanguy playing and he embarrassed us… To the point in a post match wolves press conference, when asked why he was chasing but could only jog and not run, maureen was reduced to laughter. He couldnt answer obviously he knew the question was coming. The excessive laughter made a point.. The kid is a joke.

Give him some more time Steve. He’ll come great. Trust me. José knows what he’s doing with him. 🌚

Mourinho demands total commitment, looking from the outside it seems like N’dombele is not willing to give enough of himself to the cause. Personally, I dont think there has ever been a time when the character of top flight players has come into question, talented yes, but with attitudes that stink. This guy should have signed for our neighbours at Finsbury Park, he’s perfect for them.

Who is Ndomballboy?.. Any player would get their heads down and prove themselves in this situation at a new club… Hes no ronaldo or messi.. If he wants out then this is hardly suprising.. Sooner he’s gone the better.. His performances against wolves and Burnley were embarrassing… Cut our losses, get rid, use his 200k a week wage towards a top player..

No club can carry a dead weight, well we carried Sissoko for about two years before he showed anything and we’re still carrying Lamela. I don’t think Mourinho will win this battle of wills, if that is what it is. Levy is not taking a loss on the £60 million Tanguy cost, the drop in transfer fees has made it almost impossible to move him. As much as I criticise Levy he paid a club record for him, so fair play there. Let Mourinho show his coaching ability and get Tanguy playing. Luke Shaw who was also on the receiving end is still at United and Mourinho is long gone, as a club we don’t need this circus, it looks bad, so sort it out.

Couldn’t agree more. We have two owners in Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy who don’t even like football. Poch advised the board to be brave and they ignored him and sacked him when the team started to underperform , mainly due to the lack of reinforcements over two transfer windows. There is little point dissecting our transfer strategy as it is and has been a shambles. Levy has also managed to sack ten managers during his twenty year tenure which has resulted in one piece of silverware and £650 million of debt. Levy takes all the plaudits for making every decision over the club including transfers, so he should take the blame for getting all the football matters wrong. The only people who benefit from the rising value of THFC are Enic. Do not forget that our football club is only an anchor tenant of the stadium. Enic are the PL’s equivalent of the Vampire Squid and still the fans don’t see it.

A few problems here, created mainly by Levy’s transfer ‘strategy’ or lack of.

Levy loves Ligue A for some reason, as we have seen over recent years to little positive effect.
Apart from Loris I can’t think of a single French player that has worked out well at Spurs, probably because
Levy signs the ones no other big clubs want. Levy doesn’t compete with other serious clubs for players for
the simple reason that they will always do what they need to get the deal done. Levy only enters negotiations
when there is no competition, he wants a clear run.

Tanguy clearly has issues and when he signed, his previous attitude issues in France were spoken about.
However, to get the best out of such a player who’s clearly talented you need a suitable coach.
Apparently Tanguy asked asked to speak to Poch before signing and had heard positive things about Poch developing players.

Levy needs to decide what sort of football approach he wants in place. We are forever signing players between the ages
of 19-20 years old. Cheaper, lower wage demands, greater profit when sold etc, we all know why. Therefore the decision to
sack Poch based on present results after making no signings for ages before the summer was typically short sighted.
Levy created the need for rebuilding the squad because of his neglect of it in the first place.

Now you have a coach in Jose who isn’t exactly famed for developing young players having to deal with the inevitable issues
that arise with signings like Tanguy. The whole situation is a mess compared to where we were a couple of years ago
and the only person to blame in all of this is Daniel Levy. We are always told that ‘it’s his club, he does what he wants’
by the coaches so why these dumb, mug fans don’t start pointing the finger at him more is totally beyond explanation.

Wrong player for the wrong coach and the wrong chairman, for the best club in the world…

Who signed Tanguy? Who sacked Poch, who hired Jose, who created this mess?

ENIC OUT.

It seems that he is a bad apple and it probably explains why none of the top clubs in Europe came in for him before we bought him despite his obvious quality. The first cut is the cheapest, sell him asap.

His value will have dropped, but so will players with the same ability,so not to worried if he gets sold or swapped in the summer, need players with better attitude & fitness.

Jose was right not to play him last night, the team that did play won the game. Jose will know when to play him. In José I trust.
