Conte’s Confirmed XI vs Wolves: A New Signing Actually Starts – graphic

By Ron Carne -

The heated post-match exchange between Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel overshadowed what could go down as a fortunate draw for Tottenham, considering that both of their equalizers could have been disallowed or prevented by different refereeing decisions. Nonetheless, Conte considered the 2-2 draw “a step forward” after the result at one of their biggest rivals extended their unbeaten league run to eight games. Sometimes, sides make their own luck. What we don’t want is to come to rely upon it, eh?

Would actually have liked Bissouma and Richarlison to start. So let’s see.

It’s a long campaign. We ended well with these guys last season and we all should know that players need to adapt to their new coach and team. Conte probably thinks he needs a few more training sessions to get his requirements across to the new players. Ivan obviously has an edge in that department having played for Conte before.

I hoped he would start too… I think with Hojberg he will be best. Hobby would sit deeper letting Bissouma get more forward to play between the lines.

Bissouma must be wondering why we bought him.Unless he is injured this is poor management.
