Tottenham Hotspur have had a disappointing season under Ange Postecoglou so far, and they are likely to miss out on Champions League qualification through league positions.
However, they have made it to the semifinals of the UEFA Europa League, and they could compete in the Champions League next season if they win the tournament. Even then, it will have been an underwhelming campaign for the North London outfit.
They are currently 16th in the league table, and a club of their stature should be doing better.
Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness has now revealed that Tottenham’s downward spiral is quite drastic, and there must be issues behind the scenes. He also suggested that there could be a dressing room mutiny, which has contributed to Tottenham’s decline.
He said to Football Insider: “We knew about the injuries, but to see the decline has been quite dramatic.
“Behind the scenes, there must be some disquiet in the dressing room. We know Postecoglou has had his issues with the fans.”

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can sort out their issues during the summer window and bounce back strongly next year. There is no doubt that they have a quality team, and the manager has failed to get the best out of his squad. Ange Postecoglou has been linked with an exit from the London club in recent months, and he is likely to be shown the door.
The manager seems to have lost the dressing room as well, and a fresh start would be ideal for all parties.
Tottenham have been linked with multiple managers in recent weeks, and it remains to be seen who they bring in as his replacement. If the new manager manages to get the best out of Tottenham’s current squad, they could have an exciting season next year.
