Confirmed Tottenham starting XI to face Crystal Palace

By Bruce Grove -

After a successful midweek in the Europa League that saw Tottenham top their group, it is back to the grind of the Premier League and a tricky match against Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.

This is unlikely to be one of those games where Spurs sit back and soak up the pressure looking for counter-attacking opportunities, in fact, it may well end up being the other way around.

That said, if Tottenham does grab an early lead then it may well be back to pragmatic football, I mean, it has been working very well recently.

Hodgson is a clever old sod and he will no doubt approach this game in a far more sensible way than what Mikel Arteta did last weekend and Mourinho will know that himself, this is not going to be a walk in the park.

This is the team that Mourinho has gone with, let us know in the comments below your first impressions and what you think the score will be.
