Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.
According to journalist Mehmet Ozcan, Turkish outfit Galatasaray have ‘started negotiations’ with Tottenham for his transfer.
They want to sign the 27-year-old Colombian defender in the summer and they have offered €9 million for the player. Apparently, Tottenham Hotspur holding out for a fee of around €15 million.
Sanchez has been a squad player for Tottenham and his performances have not been convincing. It is no surprise that Spurs are looking to sell the play of this summer.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of central defenders in recent weeks, and it remains to be seen whether they can strengthen their defensive unit before the transfer window closes.
‘Negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs’ for the player and it remains to be seen whether they can come to an agreement soon.

Sanchez was highly rated around Europe during his time at Ajax, and he was expected to develop into a top-class defender when he joined Tottenham. However, his development has not progressed as expected and he has found himself struggling for regular first-team action at the North London club.
A move away from Tottenham would be ideal for the player and he will look to get his career back on track. There is no doubt that the 27-year-old has the potential to be a key player for another club if he can regain his confidence and sharpness.
