Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with the Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu.

The Denmark international has attracted a lot of attention with his performances for the Italian outfit. A report from Tuttosport claims that the player is likely to cost over €15 million and he is ‘on the list’ of multiple clubs including Spurs.

With multiple clubs keen on the defender, there will likely be an auction for him, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done.

The 19-year-old is highly rated across Europe and he has a bright future ahead of himself. He has the qualities to develop into a top-quality Premier League full-back with the right guidance and coaching. Tottenham could certainly use a player of his quality, especially with Ben Davies nearing the end of his contract.

Spurs need to add more quality and depth to their side to truly compete with the elite clubs. Dorgu is capable of operating as a winger as well.

The Denmark international is on the radar of Chelsea as well as they look to replace the underperforming Ben Chilwell. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can beat their rivals to his signature. Both clubs have the financial muscle to get the deal across the line and it will be interesting to see where the 19-year-old ends up.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League will be quite exciting for the young defender and he will look to test himself in English football. There is no doubt that he has the quality to thrive in England, and he will probably hope to join a club capable of pushing for trophies regularly. Both clubs could be attractive destinations for him in the coming months.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops.
