With the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle United breathing down their necks, the Londoners cannot afford to slip up.
Former Premier League star and popular pundit Chris Sutton has now reacted to Tottenham’s defeat on social media. Sutton heaped praise on Sheffield United, who did extremely well to grind out a difficult win. He also labelled Tottenham as a ‘strange team’.

Despite starting this season with impressive performances, Tottenham have been extremely inconsistent and they will have to sort out their consistency issues if they want to be successful. Spurs managed to pick up a morale-boosting win over London rivals Chelsea recently and they were expected to cruise to victory against Sheffield United.
However, they have once again shown that they are prone to slip-ups and it remains to be seen whether Conte can address these problems in the coming months.
