Breaking: Mourinho Signals He’s Going ‘All In’ For Europa League With This Tactical Reveal

By The Boy -

José Mourinho has signalled his prioritizing of the Europa League tournament this afternoon in his pre-game virtual presser. Announcing that Harry Kane will start against Dinamo Zagreb is hardly a surprise in one respect as Tottenham’s strike force has taken a huge dent with Son getting himself injured in the North London Derby. However, Spurs only need a draw in tomorrow’s game in order to qualify, and so the Portuguese is clearly leaving nothing to chance.

As a knock-on effect, what this means for Carlos Vinicius is anyone’s guess. Earlier this morning a report suggested that the Brazilian has no future in North London and should he fail to also start on Thursday, then it would look as if his fate is sealed.

Morale in both sides’ camps might be an issue. Spurs will arrive in Croatia on the back of a dismal loss against Arsenal, and our hosts are in the aftermath of their coach having been convicted of numerous monetary frauds.

Nonsense. Win against Villa and we are 3 points off top four… That’s one match… With ten plus matches to play it is all to play for…. I have boxes of trophies mate… I have never ever known such a defeatist attitude.. If I thought like that then I would have won nothing.. Pathetic losers mentality that is.

We’re out of the top 4 race, it relies on three or four sides collapsing now.

Cups or bust.

Yes mate. We score 1 and it counts away goals too.. So they will have to either win 3-0 or score loads more if we get a goal or two.. Their chances are slim.

I forgot Son was injured. Is it bad? Hopefully just a knock or strain.. With Villa in 3 days I don’t want to see Kane playing more than a half….. No way do we just give up on top four. 3 points is nothing.

They do have the disruption of their manager going down and i believe other staff members. There’s no telling how that will impact their approach to the match.

Normally Eastern European sides are much better at home, but with no fans and this stigma hanging over the club, who knows.

If there isn’t a big reaction from that no show against Arsenal then I’ll be worried.

Have you seen our defence recently?? 2 is not enough against this lot. They’ll be up for it a lot more than they were in the first game.

Jose is no mug – he knows the league cup is going to be hard to win, and will not appease the fans if we finish below top 4. The Europa though, that is a real prize. Though I really doubt we need this line up as we have a 2 goal lead.
