Blame Game: Spurs Frustrated By Leaks And Speculation

By The Boy -
link

I think this story can be neatly filed in the Self Inflicted file, which is kept in the circular, open-topped cabinet near the espresso machine.

The front of Levy & Co. is simply extraordinary and here we have another example of the worrying detachment that exists inside the club that has drifted aimlessly with no manager for two months, no sponsor for its stadium, and no trophies since 2008. Any normal top-flight side would focus their entire energies upon running a professional operation and solving the self-inflicted mess.

At Tottenham, we have a chairman who instead opts to issue a video mocking speculation and complaining about an alleged invasion of his privacy, and now we have a press officer that feels that speculation is unhelpful and sews its own flavour of discord which itself misrepresents the levels of chaos within the club.

Perhaps less introspective waffle, and more concentration upon solving what are pressing issues. In the 21st century, information voids will be filled incessantly, courtesy of the Internet.

The problem with allowing play to continue when there’s a blatant offside or foul, if the refs not playing advantage is … it leaves potential for player injury plus notwithstanding wasting time.

That is the way the rule was written. That only came to light when Rashford scored while all the players appeal, then we were read the rules on live TV. Not fair to blame the officials on this one.

Time for the blame game of being unable to appoint a manager. Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me. Daniel Levy playing the victim. In the incomparable words of Pete and Dud, ” I laughed so much, I nearly sha* myself”

Arrived at much the same conclusion regarding Mr G. Can’t always agree, but going around downvoting his comments is just petulant and childish.

Knowing Levy, he will look at the first choices and then spend 1.2 million on Jacques N’Grealich from Ligue 2.

I’m not sure why you are getting so many ticks of disapproval. I don’t always agree with some of your somewhat esoteric conspiracy theories but somebody has an agenda against you. Whoever it is, grow up!

“Unfairly chaotic” unfairly? No manager, no stadium sponsor, one trophy in 22 years. That IS chaos ffs…

Clever move by City to bid early. I doubt Spurs will get much more than £100 mill for Kane. How many other teams can afford him? As for the Spurs hierarchy being upset by leaks, it is laughable. We have a board and a chairman who have lost touch with reality.

Yep, Paratici will be give a ‘war chest’ and be told that the whole row of first choices he draws up need a line through them. On the basis that “it just isn’t pwudent”…. 😂

These weren’t even “opinions” I imagined most people would want to live normal lives, which is happening in other places. It’s an observation. It’s not an opinion that in Budapest and copenhagen the stadiums full. The strange thing is when so many react negatively to someone being frustrated with clear double standards. I never stated I know better than anybody either. I do know I’m not in mortal danger though, nor are anyone else.

Wow have you got a log? That was a long while ago. I remember though. I couldn’t find him in a cap before that game in any interview, that’s what prompted that. It looked contrived. But that’s not what got these negative reactions. I speaking about the comment on the previous blog that somehow became a problem.

How come there are still a large minority of Levy lovers around. Every bloody blog I watch has numerous Spurs fans gurning and spitting “I hate Levy and want ENIC out”. Even the Jew Crew had some ENIC OUT banners on their show.
Every bloody pound Levy spends comes from YOU who buy tickets & Neckoil etc and without who the stadium would be empty or full of tourists and tv interest in Spurs would disappear.
If you listen to the property developer it sounds like he is spending his own money it is not it comes from the fans who drive the interest in the club.

You’re right there is definitely a narrative that needs to be challenged, unfortunately you just chat s**t and think that makes you right. Your “opinions” are worth less than sjw’s, you’re as bad as the people you think you know better than. No doubt a “witty” response is on its way, yawn.

He got the ball first and he was off side. What’s wrong is officials not flagging as soon as they see an incident. They wait for VAR to make the decision for them

Sterling won’t happen, wages too much, plus I think Levy said its a cash only deal he wants.

VAR is just a dead duck at this point. N Macedonia score a perfectly good goal that’s flagged offside and VAR does nothing, then the defender almost brakes Pandevs ankle going right through him with studs and Holland go and score….VAR gives the goal. Pitifull shat

The club is dead.

So we can have a ring fenced League without relegation or promotion but what does it do to the other competitions that every other club in Europe has to continue playing in? Some of them massive clubs too.

it doesn’t really make sense, so I’m going with this being a tactical move to try and get leverage on doing a restructuring of the current set up. It’s a threat, only how great a threat it actually carries to the establishment now is debatable…

PLEASE let us not get Sterling+money. That would be adding insult to injury.

Laporte and money might be a good deal, as I think Jesus is bang average too. But can Paratici – sorry, Levy – be trusted to spend the Kane money wisely? I.e. to get in a hard-working striker who will hit the ground running, plus probably another CB and maybe another midfielder?

I wonder who leaked the story that Levy was furious with Harry for giving Gary Neville that interview and supposedly damaging Spurs European hopes as the season hadn’t yet finished?

I reckon most of these leaks are coming from the club itself!! I any other business the board would be voted out. Didn’t the Swedish government just get voted out on a no confidence vote??
