James Maddison is expected to be involved in the game against Manchester City.
The England international suffered an ankle injury during their 4-1 defeat to Chelsea back in November.
He has been out since then, missing 11 games for Spurs so far. His absence has been felt but the likes of Giovani Lo Celso and Kulusevski stepped up playing the 10 role and put in impressive performances.
But according to The Athletic, James Maddison is back in training and could make his return against Manchester City on Friday.
James Maddison is back in training and could make his return against City on Friday. Piece on why this has been the most frustrating lay-off of his career, and the hole he left, having settled in so fast at Spurs.https://t.co/PuALPzfsHP

With Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr unavailable due to AFCON commitments and Lo Celso sidelined with an injury sustained against Burnley, Maddison’s return comes as a significant boost for Tottenham.
The midfield pair of Bentancur and Hojbjerg is expected to start the game, and the decision to include Maddison in the starting lineup or introduce him gradually from the bench remains to be determined.
