Be Lucky|How to turn £5 into £205 (or lose a fiver)

By The Boy -

An action packed Premier League card for us today, with the jewel in the crown hopefully being us beating Manchester United at half past four this afternoon.

Leicester City host West Ham and this one really ought to be a home win. West Ham had been dour viewing this season up until they smashed 4 past Wolves, last time out.

Southampton look primed to beat West Brom at St Marys. The Baggies are not enjoying their return to the top flight. Home win. Speaking of teams in free-fall, Sheffield United are still nursing their hangover after staying up last season and are winless in their last 5 outings, so quite why they would choose a trip to the Emirates to mount a reboot is anyone’s guess. Home win.

Wolves are a shadow of their former selves, getting by on taking points from the weak and the more vulnerable than themselves. Whereas Fulham look hopelessly lost at this level. After so many home wins, it’s tempting to look for reasons Scott Parker could snatch a draw. On paper, there are none. Home win.

There’s little in the form guide to point out an obvious winner for Man United v Spurs, although the odds of an imbecilic official deciding the game are nailed on. Penalty shout as Spurs are boarding their coach? Away win, despite those odds.

Aston Villa are giving it a decent go this season, but their form is less impressive when you see they’ve followed Wolves’ tactic for garnering points. Liverpool Football Club look like a big, nasty, red, runaway train. Away win.

I heard Anthony Taylor was the referee, so it’s already 1 – nil Utd before kickoff.
